Wheel width/offset under factory body

I have a CH wagon and looking for new wheels
Im just curious what people have got under factory guards?
Im looking at some 15x6.5s in a +18 offset which Im not 100% sure will fit.
Im not really very keen on going to a larger wheel as it will just show off the tiny brakes,

What have you managed to fit to your CH? also has it been lowered (as thats obviously a factor)
 
Im rolling on two sets of wheels. Im lowered on coilovers and have had the rear guards rolled. Sedan model, but should be the same.
17x8 +32 Scrub on front guards on a really heavy bump. No scrub in the rear.
18x7.5 +42 Scrubs on inner plastic front guards on full lock. No scrub in rear.

15x6.5 +18 will put the wheel flush with the guard maybe a little outside, then you have to accommodate for tire's. I'd be aiming for around 30+ and up offset.
