Good day Aus lancers,

it's Black_MR here..

just after a nice set of black wheels to suit my car.

use to have a white lancer with black wheels borrowed one to check if it looks good!

Black if you're going for a stealth look. But in all honesty, I don't see the point of plain black gloss rims. Why not run around on steelies then? Haha.
 
For a black car yoy could essentially pull off anything you want. so go nuts haha.
 
not keen to go 5 stud... for some decent wheels,


need ideas,

like offset and tyre size,


i've got lowered king springs.

No body said anything about needing 5 stud. If you like the black ones put them on. If not get something YOU like
 
mor31 just saying not keen to go 5 stud for some wheels that's all.


I got ideas, just not sure if there gonna fit though, =\

What size rims you looking at? 205/40/17 for 17" and 205/35/18 for 18" wheels. A positive offset is good for FWD cars like lancers, mine are +38 offset.
 
Nope, they're 5stud. You need 4stud. You know what your pcd is?
 
it's the distance between the studs in your rims. Mine is 4x100, so only 4x100pcd wheels will fit on my car. Some rims also have multi fit (like those black ones) and can fit on multiple pcd's. You either have 4x100 or 4x114.3 pcd. And the multi fit wheels have both pcd's available (you can tell because they have a lot of stud holes drilled into them, such as the rims you posted just before). I think the multi fit on 5stud rims is 5x114.3 and 5x120 on most... sometimes 5x100.

It's a lot to try and understand right away, but you get used to it.

Easy way to figure it out:
10 studs = multi-fit for 5stud wheels
8 studs = multi-fit for 4stud wheels
5 studs = 5stud wheel, need to check pcd to make sure it fits
4 studs = 4stud wheel, need to check pcd to make sure it fits

Well there we go. Have to limit your rim selection to either multi-fit 4stud or 4x100pcd, same as me, unless you do a 5stud conversion.

black on black looks freakin hot, providing the rims are a nice satin black and not gloss
white looks awesome too, but stealth ftw
 
pick what ever wheels you want.

4x100 is the main factor. guessing you dont want a tough stance and some fitment caused you'd know the exact wheels you want and what to do to fit them


just go to tempe tyres or ozzy tyres and pick something you like. they'll do the hard work for you if you say it's for a lancer
