VRX shocks and springs into ES?

Hey guys.
I know the information for this is buried deep somewhere on here but I'm not able to find it.

I have an 06 CH ES Sedan 2.4L M/T with a stock suspension setup (body roll city)

Have driven my fathers car which is a wagon VRX with stock VRX suspension and I loved it's handling.
Just curious to know if a VRX suspension setup (springs and shocks) would fit on an ES?
Would it be a good idea to swap them around if they do fit?
Would it also be worth trying to get my hands on sway/roll bars etc?

I personally want to get myself some coilovers but with my driveway, I think VRX suspension setup will just allow me to get inside.

Honest opinion? Take the whole 5 stud set up from a vrx. But to answer your question, yes it should. My suspension from my ES went into a vrx hassle free so it should work the other way also.

Yes VRX setup will fit ES.
2.4L already has rear sway bar from factory, you can upgrade to stiffer/thicker Whiteline ones but be wary, the bracket may not support this for long.

Just get everything suspension wise from VRX as Slee96 mentioned.

When I was getting my car serviced earlier today, I spoke to my mechanic about this.

He said that if I wanted to reduce body roll, I should look at sway bars that are adjustable before looking at springs/wider wheels/spacers.

Good idea or crock of *poo*?
I trust him and all because of his experience with Mitsubishi's.

Also, no wreckers selling a VRX suspension setup in Adelaide.

Wait dude. You in adelaide? Ive got a strut brace you can probably have? But yea bracing works wonders

Yea, I'm south of Adelaide, Noarlunga way.
I'm gonna look into Strut braces further.
Really looking for an adjustable one unless I can find the perfect one that'll stop the body roll.

Cheers for the help guys.

Adjustable generally means it will fit multiple cars, for the most rigidity a solid one is best. There are heaps around, can be found cheap second hand also. Whiteline, UltraRacing or apparently the VRX came stock with one, which is probably best considering it was engineered for the car

-Ultra racing strut bar
-Whiteline rear sway bar 18mm (the only one on the market for ch I'm pretty sure)
-VRX struts are the same as Es, they just have one inch lower springs

Naa mate, Only just started wanting to do mods to the car.
Was originally going to sell my CH and get something turbo but insurance likes to cut your balls off and reach into your chest cavity for money.

And let me know about a cruise, will definitely be interested.

Will look into the Whiteline sway bar after.

Completely off topic.

In the spur of the moment, I bought some 4x100 rims.
16x6.5" I think they were

Now for the nooby question.
What wheel nut size am I looking for as I've been told not to use the stock ones.

12x1.5 is the thread size :) and depending on the wheel design you may need open ended wheel nuts or not. :)
