Underdrive pully

well RPW belts dont fit, and ive needed to change three times. For anyone needing to know for a CE the short belt needed when changing to a light weight underdrive is approx. 4PK0740.

for which underdrive pulley, to be precise... that belt may not fit all underdrive pulleys on the market...!

Its for the RPW kit, on a CE? I thought they were all quite similar in size, and you still have a fair bit of adjustment to play with. This size might be a good start. No need to trust this, i though i would just put a ball park indicator out there... Res and i have both had to stuff around with these alot this MAY save time and money

just so ppl know different manufacturers make their pullys different sizes
(jasma, OBX, RPW, alutec; to name a few)

now that we have guinea pigs that have done one for the 4g15 and the 4g93/4 (myself and Abrouwer)
it will be simple for others who want to do this mod to just get the belt length off us, that way you dont have to do the guess work
and you will be able to get yours on and working well 1st time

Thanks, best to present complete information... save people the hassle too!

Maybe we can present as many combos as we can find; pulley and associated belt.

Wait there is one for the 4g94? Highly interested... Are they just the same as the 4g93?

@skip, yesir i believe the 4g93 one will fit yours, as the power steering and everything is the same across 93/4

@tryg, well i will be testing out the OBX pully on my 93 when the time comes, seeing as they are alot cheaper than RPW and Jasma
altho if i had the money i would go Jasma they look nice in their tough anodised purple, i shall be the guinea pig again ;)

Maybe we could do a consolidated Underdrive / Lightweight pulley section... Since I have had a few lightweight pulleys on cars in my time...!
