Timing Belt Kit Suggestion CE Lancer 4G15 Matsumo?

Hello,

I am after some suggestions for timing belt kits for my 4G15 CE Lancer. I have been looking around and I don't want to spend a heap as it is only a daily. I found this kit https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/products/ZPN-05563 brand name is Matsumo? I haven't heard of them before. Looking at the photo it has a GMB tensioner and an Opti timing belt. Has anyone used this kit or does anyone have any suggestions?

Buy a Dayco or Gates kit from an Australian store. I paid $90 for mine including a water pump at a local store (5ish years ago). The main thing is warranty and coverage if a component fails.

Id recommend supercheap, repco, bursons, or any local parts stockist over buying online. If you desire to save the $30 or whatever it is, go on ebay, buy one from an australian stockist that is a genuine dayco or gates kit. Youll have it sooner and it’ll be right.

Timing belt is about as critical as it gets for a home mech, so don’t cheap out

These guys are an Australian store. They are localish to me. I might just go see them and have a physical look at the kit and I will stop by the usual mobs along the way. Thanks.

I ended up getting it from OnlineAutoParts they were able to get me in the water pump for $51 so I was happy enough with that. Now I just need to install it. Timing belt kit has good components in it so fingers crossed all goes well.
