Ok so Jb Hi-Fi are having a 30% off sale on all car audio so i want to buy a sub and amp from them and as i live in the country its easier to buy online then to drive to adelaide. So as i can't ask them i need you's guys help on what to get. :) i just want to get the sub and amp now and later on i will probably get new speakers for the front doors and up the back and maybe a new cd player, i have this one at the moment: http://www.jbhifi.com.au/car-sound-gps- ... sku-99149/. What size speakers would i want for the doors and up the back? i have a 1999 ce lancer sedan. I don't want to spend alot on the sub and amp about $300-$400 (but if it's only hundred or so more for better i will just save and wait) and i want a sub thats already in a box so i was thinking one of these:

SUBS:

AMPS:

what one's of those do you's recon? or could you's have a look at the site and see if theres any other better ones for around that price?

i can just get the sub and amp now and use them now and get new speakers and maybe cd player later right?

Out of the ones listed I'd go the Pioneer sub and Kenwood amp. The Kenwood amp is actually quite a good amp - great value for money and will run that sub well. I personally don't think much of Sony at all, and Kenwood lower range subs arent too crash hot.

Ok thank you :) and if i get new speakers and cd player later will they just connect to that amp and i won't need anything else or?

you will need a wiring kit,

I got mine from Ryda.com,

got a Sub wiring kit (power cables + RCAs +signal +speaker wire) for about $70, its 4Ga.

for the headunit, it will need a Sub Preout, and youll need a wiring harness to go from "mitsubishi to ISO (universal)" and one to go from "ISO (universal) to Kenwood (or sony or whatevs)"

speakers wont need anything unless you are replacing wiring.

I got all my stuff from JB on sale too, I think Alpines a decent brand, and type S is reasonably affordable. Mine were 50% off boxing day sale whole system for about 680. Including splits, coax in the back head unit, Amp and boxed S type sub. If i had money i would have got an R type sub. I think Tron has one.. They are mad. well I thought so. Nothing compared with some of the people on here ahah
