hey guys, i got a ce coupe,

n lately the front seats have been making squeek noises, n its really annoying now,

how can i get rid of this, just oil or grease up the springs or will the noise just come back ?

n ive stopped taking my overwieght mates haha, jks jks

seriously, getting annoying hearing the noise , can someone lend a hand?

i know exactly what your talking about, mine started doing it not long ago and it makes me angry :p
well there are 2 ways around this iv found:

1. slide the seat forward 1 click, im not sure why this works, but it did for me :p
2. CRANK THE MOTHER *fudge*ING MUSIC!!!

I'd tighten all bolts to reduced any movement caused by loose ones, otherwise newer rails may help at the extreme.

alternatively, lose weight? LOL jks

would rubber gromits work in between all four bolts? Or would that just be plain stupid

iits sound reasoning, but the squeak is most likely in the back ssupport bracket, thats where they usually get them
if you can find rubber or other type of dampning washer it would be better than nothing

same was happening to me.. but only sometimes its weird... so yea moving it forward or back a click stops it i think.

i tried the moving forward n back n it seems to have helped, still does it but not as bad,

ill keep trying it but i also just use Cesario's no.2 method alot lol CRANK IT UP, thats what the systems there for anyway lol

I've got the same problem. Wasn't sure if it was the seat squeaking or the seatbelt. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet but might have a go on the weekend and let you guys know how I go.
Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Bloody annoying though especially with a passenger and both seats squeak randomly.

alright i had this same problem everytime i went over a bump.
this is what i done to fix my back seat.
1.because its a ce the back seat doesnt move its bolted in so unlcick the 2 clips to take off the bottom of the back seat. they are sort of underneath the bottom half near where your legs are.
2. undo do the 2 bolts holding down the back bit of the seat with a socket.
3. once youve taken those out your back part of the seat should come of if you push it up.
4. behind the back seat there are 3 hinge like things?( left, middle and right) its hard to explain but its what the top of the seat hangs on. if you closely inspect these lets call them "hangers" haha you will noticed that they have been a little worn down by friction. i just grabbed some electrical tape and wraped it around the hangers and the things behind the back seat so that when you put the seat back on it wont make the squeaking noise cause from metal rubbing on metal.
5. put your seat back togethor.

i no this might be hard to get your head around, it confused me just writing it. so just take off your back seat and youll realize what im talking about.
