Removing lower resonator

Ok, I want to do exactly this.

But all I can figure out how to take off is the snorkel entrance into the resonator. The CAI thread says there's "4-5 bolts, fairly easy to locate", but I'm blind and can only find one!
Can any one enlighten me where the other bolts are to remove the lower resonator?
And as a side question, what is the white connector piece between the flexi-pipe and the air box, and how exactly is it firmly attached? I see a couple of hose clamps but I can't make out what they are actually clamping and whatnot.

have you tried going in under neath the mud guards?
take the wheel off, remove the plastic mud guard and should be as simple as pie!

jack the car, lie on the ground and look up. Pretty sure I didn't take the wheel or guard off. Was a while ago though

na i didn't take wheel off, either, but you need to get under the car.

agreed as above, you dont need to take off the wheel, but it made it easier for me as im pretty goofy and needed plenty of room to work with, alternatively you just just turn the steering wheel to gain more space, but i didnt think of that at the time :p

Ah, I shall turn the wheel. That is a fantastic idea! Thanks

And ces, since I think you did this, how exactly did you connect the flexi-pipe to the air box?

haha

Jazza, easiest way i reckon is remove the wheel/guard lining, and then you can see EVERYTHING that you need. There should be around 4 or 5 bolts, but i took a friends res out, and 3 bolts were already missing haha

engine bay is white cuz this picture is from joshyewahh's old car.

Do a DIY on this and ill personally send you $5 and lots of love :D

Already done, & very easy to do (and makes the car sound cooler!)

But i'll still take the $5. PMing my paypal details ;)

i dont see no DIY CAI thread! all i want to know is how its connected to the air box, and SECURELY!

that still doesnt answer my question!

and you remember wrongly. it's joshyewahh's. i was reading thru his ride thread cuz its just, awesome.

Yes it's Joshywahhhhs car.

It's a PVC pipe adaptor, I know this coz I PMd him like 12 months ago.

hmm ok, thanks tron. i guess ill have to figure out a way, since i still cant understand how the pipe fits so tight and securely to pvc adapter, and then into the air box. Those hose clamps dont look like theyre even clamping anything together!

guess i'll go to bunnings and buy a bunch of bits and find something that fits tight..

There is 2 screws under the car, and 1 on the inside wall thingy and 2 within the airbox (thats if you want to take it all off) but the ones under it are located on the front bumper support pannel and 1 towards the wheel arch (this one is fairly easy to locate) once you have those off it should just pop off
