Helloooo,
So as I am noob to Mitsubishi I thought I should consult the experts before I break anything else.
When I first bought my CE Wagon (CC Shapes and parts) my cuz said only thing about it was the air con vent on the passenger side, the little wheel that you use to open/close the vent had been pushed in behind the dash, I didnt really care as I (the driver) still get air con on my side, and I thought it would be an easy fix.
We I drove it for the first time, I went to turn off the centre passenger side air vent and somehow it was pushed into the dash ( no I didnt not punch it or anything). This didnt really phase me as it only closed off the passenger air vent again, but annoyed me on a "theres a hole in my dash) level.
In my attempt to pull the centre trim (radio/climate etc) out to inspect the wheel id broken I found it got stuck on something near the top right of the trim. Deciding not to pursue this task late I night, I refitted the trim and found that I had closed the drivers side centre vent (LOL) and that turning the wheel did not open it again.
So.. the bedrock of my story is,
How do I remove the passenger door side air con vent? Screw? or just lever with screwdriver??
How do I remove the centre trim safely to fix my other vents, and what could it be catching on??
Brendan
