Re-trimming interior pillars.

Hey people,

I'm re-trimming my interior A, B, C pillars at the moment in black micro suede as the rest of my MR interior is black.

Ive finished the A, and am onto the second C pillar with no problems...

BUT im having issues removing the B pillar trim pieces. I can easily remove the upper seat belt bolt with a breaker bar, pull the plastic holding tabs out of the B pillar, BUT there is some sort of bolt holding the pillar trim under the rear quarter trim.

Anyone know how to get the rear quarter trim off? Or tips to get the B pillar trim off? Thanks in advance.

PS: ive been though the forum and noticed a few of you have done this, I stole the above photo from cesario.

sick pic :p
to get that piece out i had to remove the whole rear passanger wall/arm rest section.
i took out the back seats, then gave it an all might pull in all different angles till it came out, once the rear passanger wall/arm rest section was out i could access the lower screw part on that other piece of trim

ill be doin this soon, cant belive i havnt done it yet and its so cheap

I was attempting to get that section out today but gave up and thought I'd ask if there was another way.. but obviously not lol. This Crap was never designed to be pulled apart!!

i have had all mine in and out heaps, are you doin the roof too?

its hard the 1st time but pulling *poo* apart the 3rd and 4th time its alot easier

I bought 'backed micro suede' from spotlight. Stuck it on with car headliner adhesive from autobarn, and folded the edges over, cut them into tabs, and used hot glue gun to stick the tabs down. It's never going to come off haha!

Lot more stuffing around to get them out than I thought! Be prepared to swear and have sore fingers.

be warned about using hot glue gun glue (i know from experience) that your car heats up alot just sitting in the sun that it will cause the glue to part from the fabric
selly's kwik grip all the way, since i did my car in that it hasnt moved slightly

Can't be stuffed trimming the pull down visors and spraying all the plastic parts so no, I'm not going to do the roof.
