Question about our AC Compressors.

I'm looking to replace my AC Compressor, after clicking and whining at me for a while it's finally packed it in.

However... I am completely dumbfounded by all the different kinds of AC systems that came with these cars. In particular, the difference between the Seiko SS10M and SS10LV6 compressors.

Does anyone know the difference?

There are 3 types of compressors. That I have seen and they go like this.

JDM Style - This is the BIG compressor. It has hoses that are nice and sqaurely tucked to the firewall. One of the hoses goes over the corner of the strut tower (drivers side) and almost gets in the way when putting on a strut brace. http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g325/mongoose15/DSC_1388.jpg

AUS Style - This is the SMALL compressor. It has a pair of hoses that are failry well parallel to each other the whole route. It sorta gotes over the timing belt, then 45* to firewall, then 15* down the penetration in the firewall on passengers side.

Aus Bodgey style - I have only seen this once, im guessing its a retrofit kit. It looks small and crappy.
