Hi,

I am looking for a professional headunit installer for my VRX.

I am thinking to install the LCD unit with GPS, bluetooth (A2DP) etc.

Cab anybody recommend a good one in Melbourne?

Many thanks in advance.

I did my own, very easy to do, with the right dash kit and loom connector...

CJ VRX?

about a 30-min install procedure, once you have the connector spliced into the headunits loom. Leave your vehicle's stock connector untouched..don't cut it !!

If it's just a simple head unit install then I would recommend having a crack at it yourself. You will learn some new skills and save yourself some coin in the process.

I would be more than happy to point you in the direction of all the components you need along with some DIY steps.

One thing we would need to know is do you have the RF system in your car or not?

Also, I have bluetooth control attahed in my steering wheel.
How do I make it work with the new headunit?

rubbish in my humble opinion... all chinese made symbian OS.. slow and not dependable

you'll get a good one with that, what will it be runing just the RF system

Budget max 1000 including install + PAC module allowing my existing steering wheel control

When I was looking, the better units w/GPS were around the $2000 mark. This was 6 months+ ago though.

Checking RYDA, Kenwoods cheapset is near on $1400.
