Oxygen sensor

Sup everyone

Im installing a new longer wired oxygen sensor that i just got since my bung is not in the usual spot. My question is about the OEM oxygen sensor wiring, theres two wires blue and white, which is which, i.e. earth and signal. Ive read that white is the ground and blue is the signal, . but this from another vehicle, can anyone confirm if they are 100% sure. Thanks

white is ground and blue is plus/ signal. if this is not correct i am sure the ecu will give a check engine light .

As above ^

If black isnt the ground or just doesnt exist at all, then white will be the ground.
However, colours are often wrong (think stereo's, but not in this case due to it being OEM wiring) & shouldnt be the only point of reference

White is definately ground and blue is the signal, my new o2 sensor came with black and white wiring, in which white was also the ground and black was the signal, no more poor fuel economy :)

Good stuff.. makes a big difference, just changed one recently on my Moto Guzzi.. same issues.
