Hey guys,


please dont laught if this post makes me look stupid :oops: I've been looking to buy some new mirrors for my car online form an american dealer (because my nephew broke mine) but the closest match i could find is mirrors to fit: 97-00 Mitsubishi Mirage 2 Door Coupe / 4 Door Sedan. i would assume americans call their lancers Mirage's but Would anyone be able to tell me if these mirrors would fit my '00 CE coupe?

why the need to get them from the states? why not the wreckers here??
make sure you get ones for a 2 door if buying from the interwebs

i'm buying them from o/s because their aftermarket/ custom an they dont sell the ones that i'm after here anyway... not that i know of...
 
the mirror glass might be F'd up. as our passenger glass which is more convex would be there drivers one which is less convex. so your mirror glass would be opposite to what you really want, if you get me
 
hey, yeah that does make sense... i never thought of that...
well then does anyone know of anywhere i can buy custom/aftermarket mirrors in aus???
 
what does everyone reacon???
should i get custome mirrors with fancy lights in them that may or may not work/fit or just a plain black pair that i know will fit?
 
fancy lights = no

not unless you shave the indicators in the guard and use the mirror blinkers as your turn signals
