No Aux Input :(

Hi everyone, i've got a 2013 cj lancer lx
It has bluetooth inbuilt and a usb port, but no aux port
My mates are sick of plugging their ipods through the usb port and waiting for all the data to load to listen to their music, so i was just wondering if anyone has found a way to wire up an aux port or anything?
I've seen on youtube wiring cables that connect directly to 3G/3GS/4/4S models, so i had a though, if i was to cut the tip off and replace the charger part with and aux cable, would that work?

so you wanna replace the usb port with an aux port?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can do that.
 
Not sure if it would work but.. You could try an iPod shuffle sync cable? Its Male 3.5mm to male USB. Test it, if it works go about lengthening it or buying a longer shuffle charger?

I use bluetooth for my music, few of em don't like what i listen to
hahaha nah man i'm too nice and i love driving
 
Tell your passengers to *fudge* off. Nobody gets to tell me what music I listen to in my own car.
 
You used to be able to splice into a loom on earlier model CJs. But I beleive the head deck is now different so I assume the wiring is completely different too. Anyways seems like a waste of time, tell them to listen to your music or bring a CD or USB drive.
