Bought my first car a month ago. Just so happens to be a little lancer. Its not a beast but i fell in love with her straight away. I dont know heaps about cars but i am really keen to learn about lancers in particular from anyone with any experience. Any hints, tips etc. Will be much appreciated

Get some pictures up and try figure out where you want to go with the car.
Like bloke said, trawl** everyone's ride threads and have a bit of a drool.

am i missing something or is the term meant to be "Trawl" as in drag a net through and catch some fish (information) ?
troll sounds like he should go stir some sh!7 in peoples threads

in any case welcome to the club Regan, if you chuck up what part of the country you are from you might have some other members local to you who can help you out with mods if you ever need help in the future.
We are a very helpful club, plenty of information already here on the forum for you to search through and ride threads are the best place to start going over to get some ideas of what you want your car to be

Thanks alot. I am still working out the format of the site and all that. But i am from the mornington peninsula in vic.

Hi Regan

Welcome to the club, plenty of info and experience here to draw from !!

Cheers

Oh peninsula, where abouts? I'm not from there but known it well haha. Coming to the city Friday? ;) haha I know it's a long way but it will be a good night!

Carrum downs now. Originally a tassie boy. Probs shouldnt write that on a public forum haha

Ehh we all know where each other lives anyway from helping each other do mods and stuff. But yeah welcome. Figure out what you want to do with the car or what you want out of it. Whether that be power, handling, looks or a bit of everything. Obviously a bit of everything will cost you the most money in the long run but it's your car, whatever tickles your fancy. Maybe make a list of what mods you want to start off with, just some small things, and work your way down the list to more complex mods.

Thought I recognized Arthurs seat from your DP aha - side note freakin love that road up there, sah fun.

Welcome! Always good to have more Vic members!

Riggers is spot on, figure out where you're keen on going, and go from there.

In the meantime post up a ride thread - always good to see where you're car was and where it ends up.

Peninsula boy all me life. Have lived in Mt.Marth, Arthurs Seat, McCrae Balnarraing, Hastings and now Crib Point. Missed a few but if you need a hand yell out.
