The new Lancer will have a new front end with a cleaner front bumper. Other interior and exterior enhancements are also expected with the new facelifted Lancer. Many people just loves to paint the center piece black to emulate the Evolution’s style. The company has done this for the customers from the factory. The refreshed Lancer Sportback will have more atractive features and look.


...question is if this revised styling will be released in other countries

:shock: i love thoes tail lights...looks like the front inner mud guards are missing :S....and its sitting way too high at the front lol ...BAH I WANT THAT CAR be so unique in australia! :D
 
I think it just looks high because the wheel guards aren't there blacking out the wheel well. As for the first pic looks like the RA front to me and fitted with the HID lights. Some overseas countries get the RA bumper and HIDs on the VRX-equiv cars just depends how that countries importer specs the cars out from the available factory options...
 
i HATE the look of the new new lancer/evo's.. theyve lost their touch and look like so many other new cars on the road.. all with huge boots and weird front grills.
although i admit some people on the forums with the new ones have made them look tough.. but the stock ones make me want to hurl..
no offense to anyone on here.. just my opinion.
 
You'll be hard pressed to find any decent car with a low windowline now and whilst partly for styling I suspect moreso it comes down to the way they have to engineer them to get good ratings in side impact crash testing... Yeah stock form the base Cjs are a bit lame, but whack some decent rims and lowering it and they are already starting to look alot nicer...

But personally I prefer the look of the CJ compared to older models, the front has a much more aggressive look to it which was absent in older Lancers...

Looks fugly. Completely cheapens the look of the CJ, not sure how Mitsubishi have let that one past the keeper. Tacky and spew worthy.
 
I think those RA noses on the base model is what they are only offering in the UK and Malaysia, for the time being. If they release those here, I am sure there will be a few of us chomping at the bit to trade noses!
 
Seen. The new VRX is like the first post, with RA stock front bumper.. looks awesome.

10-spoke wheels get a chamfered edge to the spokes...

Looks good.

Hate the rear-view camera... smartest place to mount, dumbest place for ruining the car's clean lines...
 
Hmm I still think the chrome trim on the nose wrecks it...but boy this would have to piss off the RA owners!!

Agreed, I remember how many people messaged me on CCJ, when we started putting the chrome strip on our non-RA vehicles... They would be mad as all hell, saying leave it off...only RAs should have that chrome...etc...

So, now you can buy a VRX, add another $1000 (for a steel replica bonnet and paint), hardly anyone would know the difference!
 
Mitsubishi are really letting down the RA owners with what they are doing with the front bumper it just takes away one of its main differences to the VRX
 
I would have thought the main difference was the turbo engine and all wheel drivetrain and the reason people choose them over a vrx.
