New Springs

Just wondering if any of you guys have bought any springs for your CH from King Springs and what part numbers they were, just asking to make sure what I was told from the guy at King Springs was correct because at the moment ive found two different sets of part numbers, one from them and another from my work.

Part numbers are KCFL-47SL and KCRL-48SL

Mine were KCFL -49 and KCRL -48, thats for lows. Im guessing the SL means superlow? Just checked then, the numbers you have got are correct. Though it says for CG sedan, but then dates that model from 07/02 to 08/07 so it must be the same springs.

Yeah, the lows from my work were 49 and 48, thats what confused me when it said for a CG. And yeah, the SL is for super lows.

The super low part numbers I got from King Springs, I emailed them and thats what they gave me. Just wanted to come on here and see if anyone else had done theirs and what part numbers they had.

Ah true. Im actually wanting superlows for the rear in mine. I saw your car the other week at that cruise/show at hunter valley. My car was in the car show :)

I have KCFL-49 on the front (lows) and KCRL-48SL on the rears (Super lows)....this gives the car a balanced look because of the extra weight of the engine at the front on the lows....the top of the tyre sits about level with the body all around...looks good and still avoids hitting anything although I still have to be careful sometimes when parking...

Hi, Ive got a CH VRX wagon that I want to put king spring Low's (25mm) and I have fitted KYB excel G struts to the front. Kings cannot tell me if the KYBs are going to be ok on these springs. Does anyone run this exact setup. Will it damage the struts? Sounded like they will fit Lows with standard VRX struts anyway, so what would the problem be? Kings wanted to know if the KYBs travel further than the stockers. I know the excel gs are expanded: 51cm, compressed: 35.1cm and travel is 18cm. Does anyone have the same info for stock CH VRX struts? All feedback welcome. :why:

Got a pic mate? I have almost the same set up going into my CG - but SL all round. I thought the rear always sat higher? I have a pretty heavy sound system in the boot so I'm hoping guards won't need to be rolled

i bought springs for my 2004 ch es lancer sedan. with the same codes, the rears fit but the fronts are too big?

here you go guys...

Well according to the above image, there are no super low fronts for 04 CH :s

strange that they wouldn't fit your 2004 - mine is a 2005 and they fit..........and that code I gave is for low's, not SL's

Have you got a side-on pic of this?

I'm considering the same setup due to the rear normally being high and all. Also have you fitted these King Springs on the stock shocks?

Will try and source a photo for you (if I can figure out how to put it on this site). Getting some work done today and am going away for a week so may not be for a fortnight or so...

I originally fitted them with the stock shocks. They were OK. Ended up hitting a pretty large pot hole though and that was the end of that rim and shockie. Bit the bullet and changed them all round to the KYB sports ones...Didnt feel like getting coilovers as I didnt see the point. Also, did all the work myself and saved a considerable amount.

Do you know if the VRX shocks are different to the standard CH ones? If so, how?

I know the springs are; in fact VRX springs(approx. 25mm or 1") and King Lows (30mm) differ by 5mm in terms of lowering.

Hey guys we just picked up King Springs as a brand so we will be more than happy to help you if you need help with the brand.

Cheers.
