Mars Performance Projector Headlights

So when I opened up my headlights to paint the housing black, I kinda stuffed up the lenses. On both headlights there are a few blotches where the lense started to melt and the inside of the lense seems to have faded significantly after being BBQ'd, and also I seem to have been suffering water leakage on one of them since putting them back together. So they should probably be replaced.

It seems like a good opportunity to get a set of awesome looking projector headlights, and Mars Performance have two decent sets:

I'm leaning more towards the second set. I like the LED strip.

Has anybody here ever bought stuff from Mars Performance before? Would you recommend them?
 
Apart from being insanely overpriced, they are actually quite a good/well known brand for aftermarket lights. They also have very good fitment.
 
They are insanely overpriced... I'm probably gonna shed a few tears if I buy some from them, but they are the best looking lights I've seen anywhere. And if they're a good brand and they fit well, I'll probably be buying some then :D
 
Had MARS tail lights in my prelude, but they were only like $180 (got mine for $50) so yeah... haha
 
Look for 2nd hand first, usually happens that you buy brand new and a used set goes up for sale a week later.
 
I have actually been looking for months, I haven't seen any of the mars performance LED tail lights going cheap :( I guess on the bright side I have my altezzas to sell to make a bit of cash towards new ones.
 
this isnt going to be much of a help but I saw basic used projector headlights for a CH on gumtree for $165 last year...but thats the only one since :(

I've never seen any of gumtree ever :( and I've looked a lot over the last few months...

Oh and the tail lights I want turn out to be $600... wow... just wow...

I haven't seen any second hand tail lights that aren't altezzas or stockies anywhere either... argh
 
maybe the VRX tailights(i think tis the vrx that has them), which are mostly clear with red circle break lights? With a heavy tint of course...

Not a bad idea, but I see a lot of them on the road and want something completely unique... I've never seen those mars tails lights on any lancer anywhere so it would be well and truly awesome to have them on mine

They do fit, exactly the same shape and wiring, it's just the style that's different. All CH tail lights are interchangable, eg: you can put the aftermarket altezzas on any spec CH, and you can also put ES stockies onto a VRX

WIP still :p I'm getting foggies, VRX grille and headlights fitted soon. So yeah I was busy hunting for these.

Is it the chrome grille you have fitted atm? Nice, they should look pretty dece!

yeah, being LE...mine should've come with a stock mesh grille but it didnt. Sourced a slightly cracked one but all fixed up and looking to repaint it satin black to even out the faded plastic colour; Sydney weather permitting lol

nice, you getting the audi-style ones?

I was gonna say... when I got my car at the auctions there was an 06 LE that was auctioned just before mine, we bid on it but it went for like $6500. That had the mesh grille.

Yeah, both sets are the same price but the audi-style ones look more luxury so might as well go for them ;)
