Lowering Lancer CE Sedan

Hey guys,

As Ive only just got my new car, and have only just joined the forum, Ive been looking around for many different ideas on what I should do to my car..

First things first Ive ordered my Dark chrome Tail lights in and they are on their way now :twisted: ..

First idea-
Ive been contemplating whether i should get new 17's and put them on, then have NO cash for ANYTHING else..

Second and favourite idea-
Whether to Leave the stock 15's and lower the car with new king springs and have enough cash for an exhaust later down the track..

I'll leave the decision and thoughts up to you, this is my car-

( Forget about the look of the exhaust and visualize the dark chrome tail lights :thumbup: )

What do you think.. Being lowered would look good with the mitsubishi Mags? Or not..

Im sort of confused about the codes ect for the springs.. But i'd just tell them which model ect my car is and they will fix me up i'm guessing?

Anyway, any sort of view or thought about what i should do and how i can do it will be Greatly appreciated :D

Lowered looks good with pretty much anything, where as wheels and high i dont think looks very good, so definitely lower it first!

Also, i don't think the chrome taillights would be your best bet. unless your planning on opening the lens and painting the chrome black. I reckon if you want aftermarket these are the way to go

if so I would ring them up and take your car out tthere, and get them to do it, then drive home in a lowered lancer!!!
 
I think those headlights are horrid.

For kingsprings check on their website, there'll be a list of cars and the code for their matching springs.

Yeah i'm in Sydney, good idea.. Loving your photo aswell, great car..
I've already ordered them so its a bit late, but alot of the guys recommended them to me and i reckon they'll look sick.

They arent the best light, but i reckon they would look better on a black car than altezzas

But yer, where abouts in sydney are you? also i dont know much on CE's what motor do you have?? the 1.8L
 
well if you wanna lower, i think sammy was sellin his springs / shocks cause he's rockin coils now
so it might be a good bet to send him a PM and get some good cheap springs and kyb struts

but i do agree, that zaust has to go, it reminds me of a silly straw you seen in those colorful *wally*tails :S

The 15's look pretty good as they are and there's always the potential to paint them, maybe a gloss black with a red lip. Lowered with 15's looks good and the Dark altezzas would look mad. If your looking for an exhaust system, i highly recommend Kirrawee mufflers. Me and a mate both got 2" Cat backs with redback mufflers for $220 each, $80 cheaper than other places who quoted us. It has a good note and not too loud :D. I'm liking where this car is going.
 
just sayin, those are 14's and not 15's. i have the same ones :) My mate has them stock 14's also on his silver lancer. Its lowered a bit and looks pretty sweet!

I'm from the Sutherland Shire, My motors the 1.8L model
 
i had same rims back in the day they are 14's, they arnt bad and are fair light, but i would be looking at larger if ur keen on making the car look sexy
