so figured it wouldnt hurt to have a list of mods that are cheap and easy to do
add anything that costs less than $100 to do to your lancer/mirage

this might hopefully show people there is plenty of stuff to do even on a budget and might even produce a few more people doing stuff to their cars




Mods on the Cheap - The go-to list of mods for $100 or less:
Essentially, all of these parts can be sourced from your run-of-the-mill everyday places: Ebay, Gumtree or Super Cheap Auto/Autobarn. Failing that, your best bet is either Mitsubishi aftermarket online parts specialists RPW (http://www.rpw.com.au/shop/) or AusLancer's own ever-reliable sponsor HensPerformance (http://www.hensperformance.blogspot.com.au OR member name 'Hens')

Strut bars! Can get both front and rear posted for around $110 if i recall correctly (JUST outside budget, but im sure you can scab $11 off mum or something)

Bigger throttle body - $50ish
Ballance / Allignment $40-$80 (best choice IMHO)

they are legal so long as they are afixed properly

no drilling required, no extra parts required... all the ones on ebay are the same design, i got mine for $38 landed brand new, dont pay more than $50, i had to shop around a fair bit

Could also get a hectic 2nd hand "DRiFT" cannon
 
A sticker saying " :thumbup: your mum likes this" $5
also with a bit of hunting at wreckers or online you can get second hand bumpers/ bodykits or even a set of 16 by 6.5 black rims with chrome lip for under 100 from cash converters :D
