Just wondering if any of you guys know if there's a vertex body kit for a CC Coupe? I really like the look of them, but I've only found one for CE's.

If there isn't what's something that looks similar that will fit a CC Coupe?

The range of body kits for the cc are not as good as the ce. I think you can get similar side skirts, but the front and back are all curved flat and dont angle out like the vertex

Same kit thats on my old Proton M21 (pink car)

But mine was the 1st 1 ever made, they modded S13 and S15 kits to fit it

Is this an after market bumper? Or is it the stock bumper with added mesh?

Aftermarket. Close resemblance to stock if you cut out all the inserts and replaced it with mesh, but not exactly the same.

GL and GLXi have different front bars? I was looking at my GLXi front bar and that picture side by side.

On further inspection, it is the stock GL front bar that been cut + meshed.

if the one posted as glxi is first edition i prefer it over the round one. every glxi i have ever seen that hasn't had a front bar replaced is the first style. it sits lower and can easily get cracked glxi's are hard to find so most get uglied up with a gl bar.

Alright, the GL one looks decent if its colour coded like mine I think, but I like the grill space on the GLXi instead of the small gap on the GL

Yeh i have too, the original owner was next to me at autosalon back when his car was 2 tone dark blue/black, scissor doors and fugly interior

I helped him alot with his build, we bought a 4G61T lancer to use the engine but never went through with it

I like it but yes it would take some work to transform a stock early CC bumper into that.

Cutting out the bars would leave holes and take some fiberglass or other to fill and strengthen it. I'd say the best option is to get one from a wrecker and that way if anything goes wrong then you haven't screwed up your existing bumper. Plus it might take weeks to do the work. Don't want to drive around with a 'naked car' LOL

Wonder how it would look by cutting out the end 'fog light' holes and replacing them with mesh, could be done in a weekend with repainting if needed.
