If you reach QLD, I'll be there. But can't go out of state on my crappy horrible limited non-existent terrible tiny miniature uni student budget -_-

I plan on driving over on the 9th/10th (Thursday/Friday), spending Saturday there, sleeping then heading back to Melbourne on the 12th/13th (Sunday/Monday)

The reason i asked about accom, is cause the furthest ive gone from home is like a 2-3 hour drive (and the area is sorta local so i knew my way around even without a GPS), and i don't know squat about Sydney except kings cross has lots of clubs, and there's a place called Cronulla, Parramatta, and there's been shootings recently in the west haha.

Just did some googling, Sydney to WTAC/Eastern Creek is 40mins or so, is it worth it trying to find somewhere closer to Eastern Creek, or Sydney is better?
Also, any toll roads and whatnot i should be wary of?

Re: Interstate Cruise - End of this Year

Oh yeah. If your goin from sydney to eastern crk theres 2 tolls you go through. Its not that far though, easy drive thanks to the m7. Its good to get accom in sydney cause everythings there like shops and all that and its central to most things

aw man, most of the main highways are all toll roads... you can apply to the rta for like a week pass or something, and when it comes to accommodation. the more central you go, the more expensive. and unfortunately... sydney is pretty expensive haha. im sure you could find some affordable 3-4star accommodation abit further out of the city, try to find a central location between the city, and i guess the drags if thats what you're coming down for. google maps ftw haha

Im so keen for this! Easy run for me! Up the F3 then cumberland highway, couple turn offs here and there then on the great western and you're there! :D As you can tell I've been there lots hahahaha

Re: Interstate Cruise - End of this Year

Check on Google maps when booking accomodation but if heading from Syd and you can manage to avoid the cross-city tunnel then the M4 is now toll free and goes right out to Eastern Creek...

Maybe try around the Parramatta or Penrith areas for accommodation as they are closer and possibly cheaper. The city is normally dear on the Sat night in particular cos of people partying. Although if you wanna go out clubbing stay in the city...

Anyways I should be down for this on the Saturday atleast...

Getting from Sydney to eastern creek I easy. Paramatta rd then m4. No tolls and at a normal time of day you can do it in half an hour.

There's a formula 1 in Tempe. Which is on the princes highway. It'll be cheap and on you way up from Melbourne. Or you can all buy wagons n put a mattress in the back.

Good News Everyone!

WTAC Vic trip IS going ahead. Accom is going to be booked next week, and I'll be coming up with jaxom, possibly two other close friends, and 4 others lol.
