Hey guys I have a 2004 ch lancer with the 2L 4g94 engine. I want to install a pod filter but I need help with what to do with the MAF sensor, thanks!

just pop the pod on after the maf. if you remove it the ecu will freak out, so leave it there and just install it after the maf.

Most people here use and adaptor plate mounted to the front of the air flow meter and then attach a pod filter.

Something along these lines.

I recommend however that you get some silicon joiners and piping and run the pod filter out of the engine bay to reduce hot air intake by the pod.

Yeah check out Res and Matt's video on making a cheap cold air intake (CAI)

this is the adapter for your maf if you are looking for one.
the video DIY we did not need a MAF for that motor, but since you do, add the maf and adapter somewhere in the middle of the first length of pipe
you will need 2 extra straight silicone joins aswell to fit it in there (measure ur MAF inlet outlet to know what size silly join u need)
