How to change the bulbs in fog lights?

Hey, so I have a 1998 MR Coupe, and recently my fog lights stopped working. I took it to my mechanic and they advised me to take my car to Mitsubishi to get them to look at the lights. I don't have much money so this isn't really an option.

Is there any guides or can someone help me out here? I have no idea how to change the bulbs in the fog lights. :(

Do you have owners manual? Pretty sure it's in there on how to change all the bulbs and fuses in the car.

Actually....Have you checked the fuses?

f u don't have the manual im pritty sure that supercheap has one for the MR although i could be wrong

You should be able to unscrew the foglights without taking the front bar off.

Then just remove the 2 screws that hold the cover over the bulb, pull the bulb out, put new one in and then to replace, just do it in reverse. Have you looked at the fuses as Tiger said?

one screw on the front holding the frame/edge thingy on, then on the back there is 4 screws in each corner.

the entire assembly will come out. Then there is simply two screws holding a cover on the back of the bulb. and it should pop out

i replaced mine the other day cause both mine were not working

remove the plastic shroud around the fog light (1x screw), then above the fog light there are 2x screws, then unplug it and give it a good yank
its also held into the support bracket by a rubber grommet, but a small yank will fix that

now when i removed my globe, there was some surface rust where the bulb sat in place, where it made contact, so i gave it a good sand and clean up, and replaced the bulbs and it worked great

ok, i just found a pic on my phone which explains the rust
this is where the globe sat, and due to the rust, no contact was made, so i attacked it with a wire brush and its all good now

exactly the same thing as what happened to mine, except mine was more water spot marks. Just took some steelwool to it and all good~
