Help - Total Power Loss

I don't see why but I hope not seeing as it's not even 10 months old. The gear changes etc still feel as sharp as ever and there's no noises or clunking or signs of failure
 
Power is back. It was as a few us of first though, both cams were retarded by 1 notch, now both properly adjusted.

Shout-out to everyone for their help and ideas, maybe someone in the future will be suffering the same fate but the solution will lay here and not in adjusting cams.

And a biiiiiiiiig shout-out to @bucster for sending me to the wizards at Auto Xperts Fairfield who eventually found the issue and fixed it the same day, took pictures, gave me an analysis and run-down of what was happening and why, and also found a few other things with the car that nobody else had found yet. Should be running mint soon.
 
So what sort of $$$ would a typical problem like yours cost for a full diagnostic check / and rectification ?
 
It was $250 because of how involved the solution was. Damn timing area. 3 hours labour
 
Look on the scheme of things that's not too terrible. I mean it is for something that shouldn't happen, but that could have eventually ended in bent valves and bashed Pistons. Thank god the red rocket lives on
 
The red rocket is a troublesome beast, but holy mother *fudge*er it moves now. Like it's surprisingly bloody quick, I wish it was working like this at EOYM, might even have it make the trip again this year one last time and run at the drags again. Because like hell it will run *fudge*ing 18s again haha
 
After all that, will book in with them eventually.
Found a F**king coolant leak not sure where from but from bloody somewhere
 
If it was like mine (hard to find) it was coming off the metal pipe on the back of the engine, pipe had rusted through.
 
That was pretty good value for $250 considering the 3 hr. time frame, diagnostic check and rectification work, i will keep them in mind.
 
Yeah I literally just paid labour. And not even the full 3+ hours they spent on it. But like any good mechanic is, I bet they give customers good deals and great service to retain a solid customer base. And it's worked. They're an hour away from me but I'll be back.
 
I worded him up a bit and mentioned the forum. Was also going to let u write" cant fix squat" down the side off the van if he couldnt fix it. But he's never let me down yet.
 
Haha good call, he's probably gonna get a few of us going there now. I will pass on that they are wizards but they'll recieve grand wizard status if they fix my a/c idle issue one day.
