Good Performance Exhaust for a CE 2002?

Hey all,

I just found this site and I wanted to see what you all though would be a good performance exhaust for my CE Lancer, its got a 4g93 1.8L engine, its a GLI CE2 Commonwealth Games Edition

Anything pointing in the right direction would be great fellas

Not much is available off the shelf for full systems, but youl want something like this:
- a nice set of headers 4-2-1 - mid range power 4-1 for more higher revving power band
-stock catalytic converter to save costs, a high flow item would only be needed for more serious mods
-optional straight-through centre resonator/hotdog/mid muffler
-2.25-2.5" piping preferably mandrel bent(no kinks)
-high quality performance muffler, you get what you pay for in regards to sound quality and performance, magnaflow, xforce,lukey etc are good choices.

We have this system with hi-tech 4-2-1 headers, stock cat, mid & rear magnaflow mufflers, 2.5" stainless steel mandrel bent and it is super streetable, nice sounding not droney at all

This would be the ultimate setup for a serious N/A engine, and those looking to turbo in the future.
Otherwise just install a GOOD QUALITY rear muffler if your not planning serious engine mods, **BEWARE** the chinese/supercheap cannons do genuinely sound like ass!
