Gearbox swap

F5M22 is what the CB GSR use.
First 3.083
Second 1.947
Third 1.285
Fourth 0.939
Fifth 0.756
Reverse 3.083
Final gear Ratio 4.592

Specs are out of original owners manual. May be a bit more info then you wanted but may help you decide which box to use if it will fit.
 
It will fit, but it will be weaker. You've got an Evo 1 gearbox currently, (if you're running FWD it likely has a locking collar). The f5m222vrxe is a factory Proton GTi FWD gearbox.
 
So it will bolt on to 4g63t ? What's weaker in the box ? Current box synchro's in 2nd an 3rd gone an is open centre diff which is making a big clunking noise when clutch is let out . Rebuild it or go with proton box ?
 
Yeah will bolt on. Dunno whats weaker but one is designed for a 100kw 1.8 and one is designed for a 160kw 2.0. I was running a 1.5 box (65kw stock) on a 93t (145kw stock) in my GSR swapped CC and went through 3 boxes in that time.

I would personally get the Evo box rebuilt
