fto gearbox to 4g15

hi just wondering if the fto gearbox will bolt up to a 4g15 if so what is required. If it doesn't will an lsd from an fto fit into a f5m421
 
Should fit, but FTO LSD boxes aren’t very common and have different splines if I remember correctly.
 
you will need to make a hybrid set of CV's (FTO gearbox side and 'lancer' hub side) OR use FTO hubs and CV's as it's like 29 instead of 27 splines or something tiny but major like that!
 
the fto box will fit. make sure you get shafts with the box. it'll save a lot of hassle.

PFL fto lsd boxes are 25 spline but UNEVEN stubs. (kinda rare to find)
FL fto lsd boxes are 27 spline and even stubs (very rare to find)

the outers are the same between lancer and fto so no need to much around with Frankenstein shafts.
 
cheers guys, i found an fto at a wrecker and the gearbox code matched as a lsd on the fto forums so figured since im in the process of boosting my 4g15 would be worthwhile fitting an lsd gearbox
