Guys, my Lancer is so far a standard height [ no lowering yet ] and is fitted with 16 inch mags that gives a total wheel diameter from rubber to rubber ends of 625 mm. gap from top of tire to bottom edge of guard is 50 mm. what i noticed today whilst my son [ L -Plater ] was going around a slight right hand round about turn he braked to give way and i heard the passenger front tire rub against something that sounded like plastic . have any of you guys had this issue ? i am abit scared of lowering the front if its causing a drama at standard height .

the plastic inner mud gaurd may be rubbing, happened to me a screw came loose and it came into contact with the wheel, no damage to wheel, but the inner plastic section has a slight hole in it
other than that turn wheel on full lock and check the inner part of the wheel isnt scrubbing the inside of the wheel well
if its on standard rims it definitly shouldnt scrub
