Fitting Evo 3 folding mirrors to a CC 2-door

Hi,

I've been offered some power folding mirrors from an evo 3 for an amazing price ($10 a side including switch and relay!!)

Will they physically bolt on to my CC 2-door lancer without a problem? is, same base plate as my current mirrors?

I understand that there will be some work involved with the wiring. Is there a guide or wiring diagram out there?

cheers guys

IIRC,
the base plates are different from the sedans and coupes, but it shouldnt be much work at all to either swap the base plates over or swap over the internals of the mirrors

i know with CE lancers this is very possible with evo456 folding mirrors getting them to fit properly on the coupes and im hoping same applies for CC's :p

GL and let us know how it goes, but $20 for a folding mirror kit is a price you would have to be uber stupid to pass up on!

If you car is the same colour as the mirrors then just replace the base plate with the coupes plates
If not, just remove the guts of them and throw them in your mirrors

Did you car have power mirrors to start off with?? if so it should use 3 wires, the folding mirrors uses 5 wires, also the main switches on the dash are completely different

If you don't have any wiring, don't worry, just grab the switch and wiring out of an EVO1/2/3 or FTO

Thanks Guys,

The mirrors are gloss black and my original mirrors are kind of flat black so they are a close match. To swap the base plate, do you just unscrew the 2 screws at the bottom and it's as easy as that?

They come with the wiring (5 wires per mirros), the relay with plugs and some wire and the evo 3 switch with plug and some wiring. The switch will clip in to my dash where the original power mirror switch went I'm assuming?

Thanks again!

Thanks heaps for you help!

yeah I got a relay that looks the same as that. I'll pick them up on the weekend and have a go at fitting them!

so $20 is a great price? (I thought so!!) what do they normally go for?

$20 for what?? the complete setup??

The whole setup usually goes for around $200-250
