Fitment Question

I really didn't want to have to post and ask this question but I am currently looking at getting new rims for my 2006 CH VR-X.

As most of you may know stock the car sits on:
16x6 with a +46 offset wrapped in 195/50
I want to know if:
17x8 with a +38 offset wrapped in 225/45

Will they fit without having to attack guards pumping rolling etc. ???

P.S i had a look at 2 different websites and by the looks of things the rims i want will extend an extra 27mm from the outside of the wheel and give me 11mm less inner clearance.

dunno if this will help but my gf runs 16x8 + 35 on her mirage, fits nice, but did have to roll guards since very low

1) u will need coilovers
2) the rims will fit just
3) you def wont fit 225's in the back, can fit 215 with guard work or 205 with less work
4) can fit 215 up front with minor guard work

I currently have 17x7 +38 215/45 on my CH. Front rubs on inner liner at full lock, rear is fine. 8 inches would be pushing it though, i can only fit a finger inbetween my wheel and strut housing in rear. If you want to run 8's you might need a little lower offset to give a bit more clearance of the suspension.
