welcome champ, 350 is reasonable but is that for a press bent or mandrel bent exhaust? If its press bent its a bit steep, if its mandrel its a decent price, and if your planning on doing future mods get 2.25 catback and that will give you good leverage for future mods otherwise 2 inch is fine.

Also

DONT GET A CANNON DAMIT IT MAKES THE REST OF US LANCER DRIVERS LOOK LIKE TOOLS THAT DRIVE CARS THAT ARE ANNOYINGLY LOUD BUT NOT FAST

soz for rant, and again wlecome

welcome!

exhaust tips come down to personal preference IMHO
i personally like twin tip, some like single
but i say whats wrong with the one in the picture?

where are you getting it done at? betta not be good tone at camden :p

Many people will tell you to stay away from the cannon. Haha but i have one and i love it. Cannon win bill alot louder and have the drone whereas the straigh circular tip wont be a loud. All about personal preferance really

twin tip = win and a more dignified look
2.25" max
make sure its mandrel bent and not *poo*ty press bent

the tip it has on it is one of those clip over the top of the stock exhaust one. if i was to get a cannon it would be a smaller one cause i dont want it to look *Richard Cranium*y. im even thinking try to get one that looks like the one i have now. the system is mandrel bent and the guy said he can get it as loud as with a cannon even with a normal tip.

I only got a 3.5 inch cannon. Ha yeah you dont wanna look *Richard Cranium*y. They tried to put on 5 inch one at first

why u want loud exhaust!?!?

you only need a high flowing exhaust for performance
loud doesnt neccesarily mean more power
infact i am more impressed by a car that makes great power but retains a reasonable exaust note

and if u have a slow car with a loud exhaust, basically u look like a deck

I got a twin tip on my 2.25" catback. Doesn't sound like a riced-up Lancer at all, and makes the most amazing rumbling at 5000rpm+

i have no power and have accepted that, i just want my exhaust to give a nice note with enough volume to be heard, not some massive loud thing

ill just see how it turns out. is there much difference between 2" and 2.25" piping if im not looking at doing any performance mods yet?

More flow. And is big enough to do some performance mods with. 2" probably isn't enough, 2.5" is probably too much. 2.25" is the best of both worlds. I also advise against a cannon if you want a good pitch. Cannons give off a deeper groaning noise. There's also a thread with videos of peoples exhausts around here somewhere, check it out.

I just got quoted $350 for just an axel back twin tip exhaust. So that seems a good price. Ps, canons are out dated.

where was yours quoted from? ill let you know after thursday how Camden exhaust do but from all the reports iv got from my mates there wicked

I got the same guy to do my last one and that sounded good. That was like 2 years ago tho, his quote now envolves another 100 and some more....
But i do know he can do good jobs goin by my last one
