Evo 8 spoiler on CG

But why make you car look like something it is not. By putting on a big spoiler you are saying "Look at me! I need this big spoiler for down-force as I am a performance beast"
 
Not to sound rude, but a LOT of people on this forum have Evo spoilers on their Lancers, even though their rides aren't turbo, or designed for getting the fastest lap times. It's not always about performance.
 
I like this guy.

Bugger performance, there's always someone faster than you, so why not look better instead.
 
streatched tyres, extreme camber, extreme lowering and the list go on.
its all for look and it all comes down to personal taste. if you want it you will do it no matter how pratical it is.
 
Not to sound elitist, but I don't care if you put an Evo spoiler on your CG. You will be just another Evo wannabe that I will laugh at on the road as I smash it past you on the limiter.
 
I'm not compensating for anything mate. I think you will find that it is you who is compensating with your fake vents and ricer accessories.

that has 2 differnt spoilers on there. the first image is the evo 8 and the others looks like a evo 7 spoilers.
that look a bit suss to me. and i am not sure why the have the pic with the curved blade, as i have never see an evo spiler with the blade curved.
 
I looked at the sellers other items for sale, and found a "Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan VRX high Spoiler", which looks like an Evo 8 or 9 spoiler.

However, in the photos for this item, some of the photos are exactly the same as for the Evo 8 spoiler for sale that I linked in my previous post.
This photo (http://i.imgur.com/j2O6x.jpg) is one of the photos the seller has included, and the spoiler shown is indeed curved. Evo 8/9 spoilers aren't normally curved, are they?

i think this comment is not needed..... im wondering what this guy would say about my car haha... this is bad for forum attitude and as for your evo yea i had one my friends have them but believe it or not anyone can buy a stock evo...... aaannyyyyyooonnneeee lol but something that is completely custom is just that custom made to whatever you want from whatever base you chose to start with and anyway what about people on their "P's"???? would much rather drive around in something that suits my taste and i enjoy driving than an old ford lazer just cos theres nothing worth modifying unless its an evo pffft i hated my evo after a month as it was already highly modified and it didnt feel like my own but i can say that i have never seen a lancer like stih8rs with a hidden turbo and that thing flys oh wait he must be a wanna be evo tooo ... or maybe he's someone who is on their p's and had put some thought into making a car their allowed to drive fast enough to enjoy and still use no petrol aaaaaaand not be cop bait. although if were gonna talk bout who is faster im sure my bike beats evos and my limmiter in 10 19000 rpm :cool: not to sound like a sportsbike haha but please thing about how your comment make others on the forum feel
 
It is because fakers like you, who want to look like an Evo. Yet have none of the performance capabilities to back that up. You are the laughing stock on the Evo forums. Every time I see a fake evo (FEVO) I have a good chuckle. Thanks for the laughs :)

Come on man, its not my taste either but thats below the belt, if everyone had the same taste nothing would stand out or look good. Hes done well with his build how he wants it, no need to grill him, and he may yet have the performance to back it up one day.

Dude, why are you even over on this part of AusLancer? You're just hating on all the Lancers, and proclaiming that your Evo is better because its faster.
Just stick to your Evo forums.

I agree, I was quite harsh, but I really dislike people who want to be "unique" by putting on an Evo body part, like everyone else.
And he has done well. I quite like his build. From the back the car looks great. But that's it.

I am on here as I own a Mirage as well. It's my daily. I have used some guides on here for maintenance. I don't pretend that it is a performance beast with its 69kw of 1.5L Eco fury.

Here's a pic I got at the station the other day, which confused me, but at the same time I liked it. Not sure which model of lancer it is, but looked good imo.
