So I know heaps of people want cup-holders. Ive never seen them in the flesh (plastic) before but I want them so I can hold cups LOL.

Since i havent seen them, wanting to know if these ones are pretty much the same as they are for protons?

EDIT: it just occurred to me that the protons follow the CC shape. So maybe CC cup holders are different to CE???? In that case, any CC cup holder personnel feel free to let me know if they are same/similar.
 
to me, it looks exactly the same, then again i think joshy got his from a hyundai or something? lol
 
I don't think this is a good substitution. The ce has got 2 round thing near the end to hold it firm. If you know what I mean, I don't know how to put it in words. If you are going to use this, it will shake while you r driving with a cup or 2 on it.
 
I just had a look at Joshys, I just realised that I have CC interior. So the maybe different.

please avoid these


when i had my CE, i used old school galant cup holders and held them in with 3 support brackets.

2 underneath (1x at the front and 1x at the rear)
and
1 on top and the rear to counteract the weight of the cups tipping the entire holder. worked a treat. pity i never got pics of it.
 
Cc and ce and most protons are the same. The ones I sold on here were for a cc and they all went into ce's

People who use these are truly ridiculous anyway... takes away a perfectly good DIN space for stereos....
 
If anyone is interested, I have an oem used evo 5 one that will fit. I bought two from yahoo auctions Japan thinking they were cheap, only to get stung for a bunch of fees. Anyways, I kept one and have a spare. Anyone who wants it, give me the $60 I paid for and it's yours. Bit steep, but still cheaper than the $140-150 Mitsubishi want for it!
 
And those proton ones sit just below the aircon controls in the GTI. No sure where they sit stock on the cc.
 
right at the bottom in the CE's just above the pocket. I think they look similar but not an exact match
 
Well I bought them and it cost me something like 6 bucks total so I'll let you know how they go when they get here
 
Proton ones wont fit the CC lancers

You can only use ones from a CC and a CE lancer, i have a spare 1 from a CC in the garage

Ahhh fail on my behalf haha, owell it was only 6 bucks, and they tossed in Smoked Side indicators, so its still a win in my eyes. :D
 
You should have gotten some from pick n payless :p

How about next time im in syd i bring my spare 1 up, it hasnt got a bottom though, which means the cups sit on the plate

are you talking about something else or did you really mean they sell plastic cup holders for 150 bucks?!! wooow are you serious?!
