Great news Guys and Gals! Mini Cooper S front rotors are a 100% direct bolt on! I honestly couldn't believe how easy it all slid together. I even changed the title of this thread to reflect.
Here are some pics!
First you trim the puny dust shield off. I just cut through it with the dremel and then took a flat screwdriver and a pair of pliers and bent it off.
Slide the mini cooper rotor on and screw on a lugnut or two.
Bolt up the GVR4 twin piston front caliper bracket.
You can see here it is very close but it does not rub.
Snap in the GVR4 front pads.

Here you can see how close the bracket rides to the rotor but I don't see this being an issue.

Also note that it takes a minimum of a 15" wheel to clear these. Once again we owe our thanks to bmw88rider as it was his idea to use the Mini Cooper stuff. I'll only take a little bit of credit for going out and buying the stuff to test it all out.
