Hi,
My heavy duty clutch on the 4g93t is too hard on the pedal, I am running a front wheel drive normal gear box with
4g93t Flywheel and heavy duty clutch setup, compare the hardness from a stock Proton with the current setup is about 5 times harder, it become a worry after a while. I know it a hard issue to tackle unless I come back to normal clutch but the last one didn't last that long. Any input is appreciated.

So the heavy duty clutch is to hard to press but the standard clutch didn't last long enough? Lol. Yeh if that's ur problem I think you will just have to use a standard clutch again.

THANKS FOR.THE GTO BOOSTER, It look a bit bulky not so sure if enough space up front for the unit, the cylinder look 5/8?, and may need full rebuild kit,
The space between the two bolts on the booster look a bit wide, drill new hole on the fire wall?, my engine bay in the proton
Maybe smaller but it look so tempting, hate to go back to the normal clutch, one more thing is this booster spongy also,
Item look vintage and rare, should I take the plunge? Will there be enough travel?, is the hose fit? How far the other side the rod come out?

There will be little to know info on here on those boosters, basically everyone who goes HD clutch deals with it being heavy. There may be some info on DSM forums? If your that keen it might be worth just getting it and trying it and on selling if it doesn't work.

i'd go the gto option it's a proper clutch booster for mitsu's i'd doubt they'd change too much in the way it mounts. compared to every other car from that era and i know for a fact proton and mitsu clutch both cc and ce will fit it could be tight though

Hi, I checkEd the space between the brake Booster and the clutch master cylinder, they are so close it would be impossible to install the large gto clutch booster without over lapping each other, I won't give up, what else can I do?, love my old feather light 1.5 proton clutch, there must be a way.
Will take.some.pick to show you.

Use a standard pressure plate or quit being soft and push harder
