CG Rear Strut Bar Help??? Something isn't right....

So I have front and rear strut bars for my CG, I fitted the front bar with no troubles but when I removed the carpet from the boot to reveal the rear strut I could not see a possible way to fit the bar....
Do I need to get out my metal grinder/cutter and cut a little bit in order to fit it or what? Did I score a CG that has a *fudge*ed up rear?

Thats the mount point for the bar....

I'll go grab a photo of the mount point trying to sit in the strut :/

aww man, I was so looking forward to seeing this fitted.. :/

It does look like you may need to saw off the protruding part(s).

Looks like what my prelude had (kinda). Prelude struts were mounted at a slight angle so it didn't fit flush. I just bolted it on and as I tightened it, the mount bent along the surface of the strut to sit flush when it was fully tightened. Might work with yours, but you may have to bend the mount first. Or cut it out a bit...

The mirage has a very very very tight fit, but it looks like you bar wont even slide in with a little effort.

so under much investigation i have found out it is likely an evo rear brace, supplier must not know and just sent out the pack
catchy is getting a refund for the rear bar ;)

Yeah I was expecting it to be tight as my front one is very very tight, but it is physically impossible to fit this mount in there as the space provided around the strut is too small... Res and I suspect that it is actually an evo rear bar as the evo has its strut mounts much higher.
