CE Front Bar Lights

Im looking for a front bar so I can put in some lights I bought a few weeks ago, as pictured below.
I could buy a new front bar cheap enough, but I've seen at a few wreckers the same front bar, but with the light holes filled/blanked.

My question is, if I were to cut out the blanked off bits, are the mounting points there to fit the lights ?
Or should I just order a new one with the holes already there ?

look behind the bumper and there should be holes or places for screws to mount the fog light brackets. Don't know what the triangular ones are like cuz I have the circular ones but it should be similar.

My current front bar is the same as Jazza's, but I like the other style better, that and circular lights for it are hard to find.

I'll have to hunt around for a good front bar, hopefully the right colour. Then look at cutting out the blanked out parts with a hole saw.
And with any luck, badabing badaboom... Front bar lights. :cool:
 
That bar is an MR front bar , lip and driving lights, series 1 buy the looks you can also get the same in ce series 3 ( jazzas ).
Just look for the whole setup off an MR. Did you get the surrounds with the driving lights?
Get some MR side skirts and if you can get hold of lils rear skirt of his mirage which is rare as *poo* you'd be laughing. genuine setup that looks really good, Ian has this setup on his mirage minus the rear bar.

I've got the lights, mounting brackets, the surrounds all complete, just need the bumper to fit them into.
I also got some matching side skirts all off the same guy. All for bargain price of $60 :thumbup:

i dont think the lancer in the picture has a lip on it, i drive an mr with OEM lip and it looks different to that

and im not too sure, need it confirmed, but if he has jazzas front bar and wants to put old series front bar wouldnt he need to change the grille too? i think they different? not too sure, never been up close to a series 3

I got a grille too with the rest of the gear... Forgot about that.
 
oh hehehe thats good then, personally i feel that without the front lip.. it looks a bit plain and is missing something :p
 
Fine by me, means less unwanted attention while still not being bog stock.
Once this is done, the plain Jane mirage goes for under bonnet mods. ;)
