Cc lancer engine swap

Just a quick question what's the chance of being able to fit a 4G69 motor into my lancer with out too much hassle? And how would i go about it? The 4G69 is out of a ch lancer 06-07 model and I have a 94 cc lancer 1.5lt, I'm looking at swapping the motor and gear box, I know ill need a engineering cert cause of power difference

Can be done. But involves alot of custom work including custom k frame, custom crossmember, custom mounts, custom wiring

If u look at the engines bays side by side you can see the cc has the gearbox on drivers side whilst the ce+ has on passenger side

Mate gonna be a lot of work even more than fitting an awd rear.

Stick within the era cc lancer/evo you options inc
4g93 sohc and dohc in both n/a or turbo
4g63 dohc n/a or turbo.
4g92 mivec (might have a complete conversion kit fs soon)

Also keep in mind your car is a carburetor and cable clutch setup

If you fit an efi engine you will need to swap all wiring into your car and an efi fuel tank

Most newer gearboxs have hydraulic clutches so will involve you changing the clutch pedal and throwing the complete hydraulic setup into the car
