I get the same sound too, i reckon its the intake sucking the air in pulses (valves opening and closing) and the sound echo's up through the intake piping. You cant quieten it down unless you want to restrict the intake again. The stock airbox system does this perfectly.

Loud good intake OR restrictive quiet intake. Pick one.

You really only need a flash/retune if your ECU cant handle or utilise the mods you have.
 
Don't dub it down, it sounds good! Haha.

Yea I think the stock air box is made to even out those pulses or whatever it is, so doubt you could stop it anyway
 
yeah im gonna have to stay with the loud intake.. noisy as fuk but it has given my a lot of extra power 4 some reason so i am happy..

1 thing i did notice today was that it sounded like it was make the noise from the muffler but when i lookd i could see any problems so who knows
