ok so basically i read the pod vs panel thread but no where does it say how to secure it to the chassis

is there a factory plug or something to screw it to or does it require a new hole or what

can someone get back to me asap as it arrived today and i want to put it on

Ok go to a plumbing store and ask for hanging clips in the size pipe u used they will come as a bracket on a strip bend strip to ur old factory mounts and bobs ur uncle
 
You just have to secure it to whatever you can. Some people fabricate their own brackets to bolt into existing holes that there might be.
 
ok so i think ive ballsd it up abit as i have an auto so my cai wont fit like normal so im gonna have to go to a exhaust shop to get a pipe went to fit

Y DID I NOT CHECK THIS FIRST
 
Won't matter if it's auto. Post a pic to show where it won't fit. Also what kit did you get?

i got henrys CAI..

went and talked to my local exhaust shop cause NO ONE has a 2 1/2 pipe that i can buy with 45' bend

he said that he can move the battery and get and aftermarket radiator overflow plus bend a pipe into shape and install it properly for $200

i no its alot but i really want this to work and its not atm
 
if you come to bris we can do it, its not hard. because its auto it wont be any diffrent
 
hats what i thought but the auto tranny fluid block/holder thing is in the way.. ill put up a pic tomorrow 4 u to c what i mean
 
mine isnt secured by aynthing, its just hanging there hahaha
double check that it is 2.5 inch, my pipe from henry's cai is 2.75 inch (70mm)
i needed a new silicone joiner, supercheap said they could order it in for around $80.. i found them on ebay for $11 incl postage, lesson to be learned here is that the interent is cheaper.
 
ok so a question, with the CAI that i put on, should it make a sorta dududududududud(sorta like a v8) sound in the mid to high revs
 
no offence, but you are possibly the worst at describing things LOL. Just take a photo of the CAi you have done, and a video of the engine revving and post it.
 
yer i am aware of my awesome describing skills.. it is an auto so i just used to 90' bend pipes to my pod
take a pic tomorrow and possibly a video
 
you mean like a sorta sound when you flick your tongue back and you make it vibrate really fast? (beat those describing skillz)
If you mean that then yea, mine faintly started that sorta sound. even slightly resembling a rex type sound? maybe?
that's the exhaust that i mean changed btw
