I thought I would finally make a build thread for my car and consolidate some of the random questions for this complex beast
What modifications have been done to the car:
*KN Panel Filter
*Ultimate Racing Complete Intercooler Kit
*Turbosmart DualPort BOV(Black)
*AMS Boost Pill
*CPE Ralliart 3" SS Downpipe
*Ralliart 304 SS QuickPower Pipe (Hiflow Cat)
*Pedders SportsRyder eXtreme XA Coilovers (NOT WORTH IT!!!!)

The car was happy I polished it lol
I can't find my exact stock enginebay so before anyone comments they all look the same yes that is a blue engine bay lol
I then decided why do I need to be scared of 'warranty' when I bought the car to push the stock limit of the car? If I bought a Evo9 it would have been modified for my pleasure but on the new platform mods were cheaper to gain more power in the stage 1 realm so why not
So as of April 2012 I flashed the GST basemap 2.7 with the stock pill and wow it gave it some ballz but as I find out later the boost pill gave the car what it should have had stock.
Car Accidents
Along the way I've had two rear ends(sh** cars honestly) and one side swipe. If you see a barina behind you, put your hazards on and abuse that driver they should stay 100metres away from you at all times.
Round one Aug 2011,
During this incidient council decided to do road works on
a busy roadway and closed it down to one lane. Needless to say after I had my accident two other accidents happened within 10 minutes of each other as I was taking notes and photos. Council /RMS /Contractors are very ignorant when it comes to planning, why not do it during the middle of the day not 8am in peak hour and with not enough warning of the lane closure people were smashing each other apart
Round Two (March 2012)
I was waiting at a set of lights 200metres from my last accident to turn onto the freeway and a car moved infront, so I pulled up closer and the fool behind me kept driving and it's the worse feeling in the world knowing the driver will ram you and you cant do anything(I beeped but what else could I do lol).
Needless to say I went ballistic and my passenger was telling me to calm down, once I got outside and saw it was a hot chick everything was cool LOL. It wasn't as much damage as before but after convincing a mate at the workshop I took it to to get me a new bumper, I got my new 2012 made bumper
Intercooler and BOV Installation
So moving forward, I Have a few thou laying around and thought it's time to start the upgrade process and get a bigger Intercooler and a BOV to make the car sound more 'jap' less 'euro'.
The install process was a nightmare as without the proper tools for the job alot of preparation occurred with getting the car off the ground, fitting the IC and struggling to get the reo bar back on even though I'm later told I didn't need to take it off. Good thing was I had two mates on hand, beer and was on holidays so the whole process kicked off at 6.30 and didn't end till about 12.45 at night.
My interpretation of how it should be fitted, A bit hard until you see where everything goes(This was my first turbo car ). Yes Dumbshit indeed
Puny little thing, I'll put it up for sale soon I have all the parts for it as well
This gave me nightmares, I had to go to a mechanic mates house to try get it
fitted back on. The IC is way too fat to easily slide in behind it

Fail whale!!!! 14.1 was my best. Conjob got 13.9 in his SS
Golden Mode
Come 2013 after changing the stock diff oils and trans oils It was time to involve Mr Golden and crank some power
Nek Minnut 13.47
I now have a new set of S1 Hancook's tyres fitted but the Pedders Coilovers are shocking so I'm going to dump them for something more reliable, I hardly make adjustments on the coilovers and they are already clicking and it over turns on the dampeners settings. it's just a horrible product from my experience.
To Finish here is a comparison with my mrs car and she thinks she stands a chance LAWL
(for the record she got her licence at 25 so that's why she's on her p's)

*Air intake swap to a evo X type setup
*TurboXS Catback with a resonator
*Wheels, I like the bbs evo x ones
*Brake Upgrade for sure
*Suspension swapout
EVO X Swapout
*TD05 turbo and manifold most likely MHI turbo
*Electronic Boost Controller
*Upgraded SST Cooler
*3Pod gauge cluster for oil, boost and something else that I'm not sure of.
*SST S-Sports flash, Ill drive to Melbourne to get Beeble to work his magic
I'll post my questions at the bottom of this and update it as time goes by until the conversion is complete, I loved what Glenn from clubcj done to his car but I'd feel happy to acheive 75% of what he has done so I'll be using his setup as a close reference
Any thoughts, queries or suggestions I'm more than happy to hear it, it's all good
