Hey guys,

Trying to hunt down new pads to go with my rotors. Looking at bendix but they dont seem to have coupe listed as a 1.8L option for CEs.

Do all the CE lancers, sedans, coupes and wagons, 1.5L and 1.8L run the same front brakes?

Im guessing DB1277 should fit stock caliper?

Thanks in advance!

How much though. On ebay GCT (general use) are going for $67 but im also looking at QFM DB1201 PERFORMANCE for $66. Im thinking QFM coz they will probably give better braking performance than general use bendix ones, but then again I dont wanna fk my new rotors using performance pads on a car that doesnt really warrant them...

Do performance pads wear rotors much faster than standard pads, or is the difference under normal driving minimal? :-S

EDIT: also any recommendations? Dont wanna spend a fortune but I dont want crap either.

yes performance pads generally speaking chew the discs a bit more, im not sure how much more exactly but they do

if you are sure they are the right pads then go for it, if not go into SCA/AB and ask what u need then go home and buy online with the part #

Do it with a mate if u can and take the old ones in, the ones i got from repco had 2 types and ones we got were the wrong ones.
97 1.8l coupe
