Are lancers chicks cars?

hi i m michael 21 years old and in the market to buy a buy a lancer perferbaly ce s as i think except the ce s all other lancer s look *poo* so anyway my friends told me not to get it as they are chicks car and its gay to drive a chicks car,i also had a look at some sellers ads on carsales and see that they wrote at their add "nice girls car" so just a question is it really a chicks car???
 
dont know if your just trolling, but what matters is what you think, any 4 cylidner car can be classified as a chicks car

Any car can be classified a chicks car, lady at work drives a XR6T, it has pink stuff and betty boo everywhere.
 
I would have to say yes only because most ce coupes i see are mostly chicks. It doesnt bother me though cause i dont care what people think - i jsut want a sleeper that goes as hard as f*Ck. However if you chose the opposite and make you ce a garage queen....then yeh thats a bit more feminine.
 
i was gonna say any car, then i changed my statement to 4 cylinder, i was more looking at it in temrs of buying it stock, so then it thought you wouldnt really consider a v8 or 6 cylidner car as a chicks car, however when you personalise it thats a different story
 
they a bit chics car lulz coz i see mostly chickies driving it here but not bad for cheap reliable fuel efficient daily
 
yeh chicks car, but it doesnt bother most of us, we build them into much more masculine machines
 
Who really cares what they think lol....put it this way they are cheap and reliable, have enough power to get you around but not really enough to get yourself into alot of strife quickly...

I had a 99 Excel before my CJ and got the usual crap about girls car blah blah blah, in particularly from apprentices at work but at the end of the day it was cheap and never let me down...can't say the same for the Nissans, Commodores,etc that some of the muppets had... Although even after buying a $30k CJ Lancer VRX you'll still cop the same *poo* at times because there is a certain imbred element of our society that think you need to have a heavy unreliable piece of crap as a car (ala Commodores, Falcons, Skylines, etc)!

thanks for the quick replies..appreciate it...sorry not trolling not really have a time for that ....yeh and i dnt like commodores and falcons as every man and his dog has them ...but the ce s look good i guess its the same case with rex s as i see chick driving them but then guys too...so wud prolly get them put some 17-18 s slammed no stupid body kits...mor31 s car look good
 
Your mates probably a bogan who drives a commo and thinks its the bees nees. If lancers are girls cars, commos and falcons are mums runabouts and taxis.

SO any car can be whatever you make it.

I grew up with all my mates driving commos, and I drove a lancer, copped heaps of crap, but who gives a sh-t.
 
LOL, i get crap coz I have a wagon, with a nimbus radiator, for some reason it makes it a real family wagon. I prefer the term sports wagon, it adds a few KW's
 
dont let the cars reputation as a girls car turn u off buying one
they really are great cars. light weight, cheap on the juice, small, plenty of mods

civics are also considered girls cars... but fk how many young men want them these days?
 
your probably going to get a fairly biased opinion from a lancer forum........ hell.... ive owned the typical large cars the first being a cm val. and then onto fairmonts falcons ect...... but now that i am a ce owner i wont even let the missus drive it so much for being a "girls car"

EDIT: take one for a test drive (a good test) all im going to say is: i did and never thought twice
 
i unfortunately lost my 200 virginity in a commodore. they handle like ships and build quality is hollow. i just care about the drive ;)
