Another Head Unit Question

depends on the condition and age of your battery, i wouldn't risk it. just let the car idle and play it

I wouldn't sit in the car with it on idle as I'm not to sure about other state but in WA if a police officer witness you looking at an entertainment device eg movie phone they can book you even if the car isn't moving. New battery's have around 12 hours play seeing as it's only your head unit it should be fine for one movie. You can however invest in a voltmeter to keep an eye on your battery's output
