Aluminium Radiator

i would do what henry said. use an oem evo radiator as theyre thicker anyway. u should be able to find them pretty cheap.

im running a 53m full alloy koyo radiator in my TME. only replaced it coz the stock one blew its top (theyre plastic tops). there really isnt a need to go all out on a radiator unless ur running a serious set up.
with the new radiator being so much thicker i have very minimal clearance from the turbo. but its been fine. no heating problems watsoever.

with the stock fan mounted

I'd be looking for a Pair of Davis Craig thermo fans that you could mount on the front, just behind the bumper. Stay away from cheap cooling fans.
Lowering the total volume of your cooling system is the LAST thing I'd be wanting to do!

Alternatively, maybe some one off extractors could be convenient lol

In the pic that is a standard CE setup so yes two fans - the extractors are very close to the engine as it is a very snug fit around the engine - if I go the smaller but thicker radiator I will be having just the one fan...
