6a12 4wd conversion

a) Though the FTO's only came in FWD for one

b) Ask anyone who is doing or have done an AWD conversion and they'll tell you it's a pain plus a lot of money

c) If you want to do an AWD conversion just do the norm and go 4G63T since it'll have more potential in the long run.
 
Anything possible if you have the cash, any awd conversion would be a pain that's why everyone's not doing it.
 
i doubt this would be anwhere near easy, as the fto's never came awd im pretty sure, but i have seen one awd, as that was running a 4g63t setup.
 
anything is possible if you are determined enough and have the pocket for it then go for it
 
It is of course possible however the 6A12 lacks the power/torque to need AWD, to the extent that AWD would more hinder than better performance.
I believe there have been 6A13T + AWD conversions done however

it was out of curiosity as im looking at doing either a 4g63 swap or a 6a12 swap, an i like the idea of a 6a12 and 4wd for some thing different but after whats been said probably no plausable

both 6a AWD and g63 AWD swaps are going to be will over a $10k budget...

do a fwd 6a12 swap or a 4g94 fwd swap. keeping it FWD will cut costs by about $5-6K
 
ah ok cool, i figured since i got my ce for 2k it would still be cheaper than an evo but after doing wheels suspension and brakes it will proabably come out the same roughly

after doing brakes, suspension, AWD conversion, mod plates, engineering certs and any fix ups that it may need.

your looking at more than an evo
