4g94 conversion running issues

Hey all

just completed my 4g94 conversion into my ce , wired everything up (except the exhaust 02 sensor a broken clip) i start the car and it runs but it revs up to 2000 rpm then drops to 1200 rpm and it repeats this, when it revs the speedo moves aswell. If i remove the speedo wire from gearbox the reving issue stops. Can any one help??

are you using original isc motor, and tps?
have you removed the tps and reinstalled it on a different throttle body?
also what cam angle sensor cylinder and cam sensor are you using.
also what crank angle sensor are you using.
are you using original 4g93 intake manifold and throttle body?

Ive done several of these swaps and have not had a problem.

Is your check engine light lit?
 
im using the 4g93 crank sensor
4g93 tps and isc
original 4g93 manifold

4g94 cam angle sensor

and no the engine check light is not on
 
So running the 94 or 93 ecu? If you're running the 94 and you have a 4 wire tps there is your problem 94's have 3 wire, if you're running the 93 ecu then take the cam end cap off remove the sensor wheel and fit the 93 one.
 
yes swap the 4g93 cam sensor as well as the trigger wheel and fire it up
 
Will do tonight , so you think it will cure the issue with the car revving up and down when the speedo wire is connected to the gearbox?
