Hey mate, welcome! Not a task I’ve done personally, but the “best” method would have to be a loom swap.

You could remove the connector and wiring from the selector to the ecu and same again from ecu to transmission. But if you are not confident, this is a very easy place to make mistakes.

One connector at a time and you really can’t go wrong. Most plugs can’t be mixed up and the ones that can wont fit comfortably elsewhere.

That ECU will need the immobiliser flashed out of it or the car wont start after all your hard work. Maybe someone here knows if the standard auto ecu is capable of tiptronic shifts with the right wiring hooked up?
